Since many of the Somali peoples were nomads, the dress has evolved around nomadic traditions amd Arabic Islamic culture as can be seen from the woman's dress. It consists of a long dress called an aboor, a triangular that covers the forhead completely and is velcro fastened at the back. It is completed with a big stole that covers the head and upper body.
NB Colour of costumes are a guide only. We may supply a different colour to the one shown.
Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts.
