Yalda is wearing the Punjabi suit, or the salwar kameez as it is more commonly called nowadays, is worn in both India and Pakistan. It includes a pair of loose baggy trousers - salwar, a long loose shirt - kameez and a scarf - dupatta of chuni. It can be made out of any fabric. The dupatta can be worn over the head, over a shoulder, round the neck or accross the chest.
NB Colour of costumes are a guide only. We may supply a different colour to the one shown.
Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts.
